DESIGN THINKING LAB
Fatih University has state of the art Design Thinking Lab providing best facilities of working out of the box utilizing latest techniques in design thinking process.
Students are always guided and taught to focus in the divergent directions. They do different projects collaborating with the industries bringing out the tangible solutions solving real problems which we call "Challenge".
Also we provide environment which is totally different from typical classrooms and labs; its basically "LEARN BY DOING" methodology which makes you learn in colorful environment.
LAB FOUNDER
Prof. Dr. NADER NADA
Professor Nader Nada is a Professional Speaker and Author. He is the founder of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program and Design Thinking Lab at Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey. He received his PhD degree from George Mason University, VA, USA. In 1991 he received the Achievement Award from the American Achievement Academy. He was NASA Fellow Researcher for 3 successive years in the design and implementation of the Earth Observation System (EOS), NASA’s largest global environmental system. Dr. Nada has a sincere interest in Creativity, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Human Development, Strategic Management, Cleaner Production, Lean Manufacturing, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Environment Technologies. He published 7 books and over 90 journal and conference papers. In 2002, he joined the UAE National Committee on the Development of the Primary and Secondary Education (UAE Vision 2020) as Minster of Education consultant and Chaired the UAE National Committee on Technology Education. In 2006 he has been assigned as a consultant for the minister of education in Egypt. He is currently the chair of the graduate Program in “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” at Fatih University,Turkey,

DESIGN THINKING FOR EXECUTIVES 2014
In August 2014, Design Thinking Lab is organizing One Week workshop on Design Thinking: From Problem Solving to Innovation. Combining together tourism and Learning, this workshop will focus on building up creative thinking techniques and ideation & prototyping tools bringing real solutions.

ICTHE 2014
Design Thinking Lab is organizing another ICTHE this year in June in Fatih University.
The main goal of the congress is to provide an international platform to exchange experiences and to establish long-term cooperation as well as strategic partnerships between different universities on Academic Entrepreneurship. This Congress is designed to achieve this goal through the dissemination of up-to-date information, panel discussions, workshops and tutorials.

TEDx Fatih University

Dr. Nader Nada privileged us to listen to him as he delivered a talk on "How might we change the world?" in TEDx event organized in Fatih University, Istanbul; Link. He elaborated how can we manage to use technology in terms of innovation and creativity using DESIGN THINKING as one of the major tools. START UP WEEKEND 2014
Three of our Master students from Innovation & Entre preneurship participated in Startup Weekend ISTANBUL. And one of them stood WINNER TEAM. They utalized their skills performing in different teams competing with eachother bringing up the ideas into real business.

Design Thinking Workshop 2013
In Oct. 2013 Design Lab organized a workshop on Design Thinking in collaboration with Koblenz Landau University, Germany. Dr. Isabel, Dr. Danial from Koblennz and Dr. Nader Nada from FATIH University were the mentors, at the end of event participants were given certificates.
